Lauren Anne Hansen, OD

Dr. Lauren Hansen is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist with over a decade of experience providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry, Magna Cum Laude, from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2014, where she was honored with multiple academic distinctions, including membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity

Dr. Hansen has extensive clinical experience in primary eye care, pediatrics, contact lenses, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. Dr. Hansen specializes in contact lenses, including RGP (rigid gas permeable), scleral, and hybrid lenses, offering tailored solutions for patients with complex visual needs. She has a strong clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease Her professional journey has taken her across the country—from the Pacific Northwest to the Midwest—where she has built a reputation for personalized, patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Dr. Hansen is a busy mom to two young boys. She enjoys watercolor painting, participating in her book club and spending time with friends and family.
