Dr. Jodianne Carter is a renowned, board-certified ophthalmologist who has been a dedicated member of Heart of America Eye Care since 2001. She graduated with distinction from the University of Missouri at Kansas City's esteemed six-year medical program. Dr. Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1991, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1992. Her exceptional academic performance was recognized with the Janet M. Glasgow American Medical Women's Association Scholarship Achievement Citation.

In 1993, Dr. Carter completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Missouri Kansas City, and in 1996, she finished her ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
